Description
When a large, elevated, or top-heavy fresh floral design needs stronger stem support without slowing down production, a higher-density instant foam provides the stability professional florists depend on. OASIS® Instant Deluxe Floral Foam Maxlife – 48 Brick Case combines the heavy-density stem grip of OASIS® Deluxe Floral Foam with perforations that accelerate water absorption for faster preparation. Manufactured by Smithers-Oasis, the company behind the OASIS® floral foam category, each professional-size brick measures 9" x 4" x 3" and is pre-scored at 1/2 and 1/3 for efficient portioning. Maxlife technology is formulated to maximize flower hydration and support cut-flower freshness, while the Deluxe density makes this foam particularly useful for tropical stems, woody materials, large arrangements, elevated event work, and designs that must remain secure during transport.

OASIS® Instant Deluxe Floral Foam Maxlife is designed for fresh-flower work where both hydration and mechanical support matter. The Deluxe formulation has a higher density than OASIS® Standard or regular Instant foam, giving it stronger grip for thick, woody, tropical, tall, or top-heavy stems and making it especially useful for substantial wedding arrangements, ceremony installations, funeral designs, large centerpieces, stage work, and arrangements that will be transported after completion. Small perforations in the Instant Deluxe brick increase the rate of water absorption while retaining the heavier Deluxe foam structure. Each brick is also scored to make repeat production easier when florists need halves or thirds rather than a full block.
The price listed is our everyday professional wholesale rate — the same rate working florists, event studios, retail floral shops, funeral florists, floral educators, and other buyers pay, with no account application and no minimum order required to access the price shown. To saturate the foam correctly, place the brick gently on the surface of clean water with the perforated side in contact with the water and allow it to float and sink naturally under its own weight. Allow approximately 2 minutes for complete saturation. Do not push, hold, or force the foam beneath the water. Forcing floral foam underwater can trap air inside the cellular structure, creating dry areas that do not provide stems with adequate water even when the surrounding foam appears wet. Once saturated, cut or portion the brick as needed using the factory score lines, secure it appropriately for the container and scale of the design, and keep an accessible water reservoir around the foam whenever the arrangement format allows. Insert freshly cut stems firmly enough to establish contact with the saturated interior of the foam, and avoid repeatedly removing and reinserting stems into the same hole because excessive insertions reduce holding strength.
For particularly large, asymmetrical, tropical, or transport-sensitive designs, the heavier Deluxe density provides greater resistance around inserted stems than medium-density foam. Reinforce the foam mechanically with waterproof floral tape, a cage, or other appropriate support when the scale or orientation of the arrangement requires it. Check the water level regularly after the arrangement is completed and replenish the reservoir as flowers consume water. Do not allow saturated foam supporting fresh flowers to dry completely; once floral foam has dried after initial saturation, it cannot be effectively restored simply by soaking it again.
Who Uses This: Professional wedding florists, event and corporate floral designers, retail flower shops, funeral and sympathy florists, hotel and hospitality floral programs, floral design schools, production studios, and wholesale buyers who need heavy-density fresh floral foam for large, demanding, or high-volume designs.
What is the difference between OASIS® Instant Deluxe Floral Foam Maxlife and regular OASIS® Instant Floral Foam?
OASIS® Instant Deluxe uses a heavier-density foam than regular OASIS® Instant Floral Foam. Both use perforations to promote faster water absorption, but the Deluxe density provides stronger stem grip for large arrangements, woody or tropical materials, tall flowers, top-heavy designs, and work that must withstand handling or transportation. Regular Instant foam is medium density and is intended for a broader range of everyday floral arrangements. Instant Deluxe is the better choice when additional mechanical support is a primary design requirement.
How should OASIS® Instant Deluxe Floral Foam be soaked?
Place the brick on the surface of clean water and allow it to float and sink naturally under its own weight. OASIS® recommends allowing approximately 2 minutes for floral foam to fully saturate. Do not press or force the brick beneath the surface because forced submersion can trap air inside the foam and create permanent dry zones that prevent stems from receiving adequate water. Once saturated, keep the foam supplied with water throughout the useful life of the fresh-flower arrangement.

Important Use Note: Use passive float-and-sink saturation only. Never force floral foam below the water surface, as trapped air can create dry areas inside the brick. Once previously saturated floral foam has completely dried, it cannot be effectively re-wetted for normal fresh-flower use.
